| Qualification: Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
Training Package: Business Services This Qualification is for people pursuing a career with junior responsibilities in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S). It is designed to apply across all industries, including manufacturing. It provides the student with the skills to undertake health and safety functions within an organisation at a junior management level or as a safety officer who might play a role in Occupational Health and Safety in workplaces and organisations. Students will develop specific competencies in OH&S including contributing to, or assisting with legal compliance, consultation, systematic management, hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control, and related Human Resources issues. Students will also be able to choose other units to best support the needs of their occupation, enterprise or workplace.
