| Qualification: Certificate III in Textile Fabrication
Training Package: Textiles, Clothing and Footwear This qualification is designed to prepare people to work in textile fabrication in occupations such as textile fabrication operator tradesperson, patternmaker, or sailmaking tradesperson. This course teaches students the skills needed to safely work in the textile fabrication industry. The course allows them to combine on-the-job with off-the-job training. They will learn about different areas of the textile fabrication industry, such as production operations, machine maintenance, warehousing and distribution, frontline management and workplace training and assessment. They will need access to plant and equipment to complete some of the modules in this course. This Qualification can offer entry into a career in the canvas manufacture, auto & marine trimming, awning manufacture or sail making industry as a tradesperson.
