Training Package: Plastics, Rubber & Cablemaking

This qualification is for operators working in the plastics, rubber and cablemaking sectors who want to develop high-level skills in the operations and practices in their workplace. It is suitable training for occupations such as plastics process operator, rubber process operator, or cablemaker. The qualification can be achieved by a combination of on-the-job training and experience with off-the-job training. Students will learn how to solve technical problems in the use of specialised the plastics, rubber and cablemaking equipment and processes. They will also learn about occupational health and safety policies and procedures, how to apply quality practices, and workplace communication.
