| Qualification: Certificate III in Mattress and Base Making
Training Package: Furnishing This qualification is designed to prepare people for occupations such as mattress and base making tradesperson. It is intended for a rounded tradesperson who has competencies encompassing springs, tape edging and quilting. You will learn how to carry out measurements and calculations, use mattress and base sector hand and power tools, prepare and assemble base units, assemble mattress components, cut mattress and base fabrics, read and interpret work documents, estimate and cost jobs and how to handle dangerous goods/hazardous substances. You will also learn about occupational health and safety and communications skills.
