| Qualification: Certificate III in Locksmithing
Training Package: Metal and Engineering Training Package This qualification is designed to prepare people to work as locksmithing tradespersons. It has been developed in consultation with industry to provide extensive, relevant training for apprentices in the locksmithing industries. Students will acquire skills and knowledge in: measurement; computations; occupational health and safety; and skills relevant to locksmithing such as servicing and repairing automotive, fire and security systems, installing locks, hardware and other control devices and keying systems. The course is comprised of core / mandatory units of competency as well as locksmithing stream and specialisation units, which can be selected to best support the needs of the enterprise or workplace.
