This qualification is designed to prepare people for occupations such as aviation maintenance worker in avionics, mechanics and structures. It is an entry-level course is for people who want to undertake a traineeship in aircraft maintenance. Students will learn how to maintain and repair aircraft avionics, mechanics, or structures. The course provides an introduction to aviation and OHS, general aircraft maintenance practices, quality standards, trades practices and aircraft servicing and handling.
