Certificate II in Textile Production (Intermediate) This qualification is designed to prepare people to work in the textile production sector in occupations such as textile operator, textile products dispatcher or textile production fixer. You will learn about the processes and operations used in this industry sector to make textiles. The course teaches you the skills and knowledge needed for safe and effective work practices in textiles production. This course allows you to combine on and off-the-job training. It can lead to a range of positions in the textile production industry, including advanced specialist machine operator/leader. Certificate II in Textile Production (Complex or Multiple Processes) This qualification is designed to prepare people to work in the textile production or wool processing environments in occupations such as early stage wool processing operator, or processing fixer / jobber. The course provides employees/students with a basic understanding of the processes involved in working safely and effectively within textile production and early stage wool processing. The skills gained will prepare the student to perform a defined range of skilled technical and operational tasks, involving known routines, methods and procedures, usually under supervision, in the early stage processing of wool including production/processing, machine operations and maintenance, teamwork and warehousing and distribution.
